Good to know

  • The S1 runs via the west of the city and the S8 via the east. Because they alternate there is a train every ten minutes; the trip to the main station takes about forty minutes.
  • The S8 runs around the clock: roughly every forty minutes between 1 and 4 a.m., and every twenty minutes otherwise. The S1 runs every twenty minutes from about 3 a.m. until midnight.
  • The station is below the Munich Airport Center on Level 02; escalators and accessible elevators take you to Level 03.
