Fort Myers Airport arrivals: how to read the board

The arrivals board above lists the flights landing at Southwest Florida International today, with the scheduled time, the estimated or actual landing time and the status of each flight. It updates continuously. RSW is the airport of Fort Myers, Naples, Sanibel and Cape Coral, with a strongly seasonal schedule: in winter, when the snowbirds arrive from the Midwest and the Northeast, it is one of the busier airports in Florida.

RSW has one terminal with concourses B, C and D, so there is no terminal to check; every arriving passenger comes out into the same baggage claim hall on the ground floor. Pick up curbside on the lower arrivals level only when your passenger is outside with their bags, and wait in the free Cell Phone Lot until they call; to walk in and meet them, use the short-term garage opposite the terminal. Allow half an hour between landing and the curb. Taxis and ride apps pick up at the designated zones outside baggage claim, the rental-car counters are in the terminal, and LeeTran buses run to Fort Myers.

Southwest, Delta, Frontier, American Airlines, United Airlines and JetBlue share the arrivals fairly evenly, from the Midwest, the Northeast and the Southeast. Spirit, Breeze, Sun Country and Avelo add leisure flights, and Air Canada and WestJet fly in from Toronto in winter. The busiest connections in our route data are Chicago O’Hare, Atlanta and Boston.
