  • MTS Route 992 stops at both Terminals 1 and 2, in front of each terminal. It is wheelchair accessible and connects with the Trolley, COASTER and Amtrak stations as well as many bus lines.
  • Route 992 provides access between the airport and downtown from the Broadway & Kettner Blvd stop, connecting to the UC San Diego Blue Line (Santa Fe Depot or America Plaza Station), the Orange Line (Courthouse Station) and the Green Line (Santa Fe Depot Station, one block east).
  • MTS offers contactless payment by simply tapping your debit/credit card or mobile wallet; no cash or ticket needed.

  • To return to the terminal via the San Diego Flyer, walk southwest (downhill) on W. Palm Street and turn right on Admiral Boland Way. Look for the bus stop bench.
