Introduction

Toledo Executive Airport (IATA: TDZ, ICAO: KTDZ, FAA LID: TDZ) is a public use airport located in Wood County, seven miles (11 km) southeast of the central business district of Toledo, Ohio. The airport, formerly known as Metcalf Field, was renamed in 2010 and is used primarily for general aviation and also serves Toledo Express Airport (TOL) to provide additional capacity.

It has no commercial passengers and no scheduled airlines serve Toledo Executive Airport. General aviation, private & charter (mainly) are the operations at TDZ. Although it is somewhat of a private and corporate airport, no commercial airlines serve TDZ.

The airport is not competing with the nearby Toledo Express Airport, which serves more than 600,000 passengers per year, and as a reliever it would typically see lower traffic levels. Despite this, general aviation continues to be a constant presence at the airport. The operator says that in recent years, the airport has handled about 500,000 passenger departures per year and well over 100 departing flights a week.

Address: 28331 Lemoyne Rd, Millbury, OH 43447. I-280 and OH 2 provide direct access to the airport by car. From there, follow the signs for the airport, which are right off of this exit as well.

Parking

There is free parking in the airport's primary lot for passengers and guests alike. Parking here has no fees and is not limited in time, so it represents a good choice for travelers who leave their car at Toledo Executive. Guests can also park at the nearby Red Roof Inn Perrysburg, which provides long-term parking and has a complimentary airport shuttle service.

Transportation Prices

Toledo Executive is a small regional type of airport, so it does not have the robust array of transportation options as you do at one of the international hubs. That being said, there are plenty of other cost-effective means to reach the airport and leave it. Many rideshare services (such as Uber and Lyft) are accessible, with some fares averaging between $15-$25 one-way.
