McGuire Air Force Base, which is a United States Air Force base located in Burlington County, New Jersey and extends approximately 16 miles south-southeast of Trenton. The base is under the jurisdiction of the United States Air Force and located between Mount Holly, Moorestown, Pemberton Borough in Burlington County (the largest county in New Jersey), although portions extend into Ocean Township to the south. It was combined with two U.S. Army and Navy facilities to become part of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on October 1, 2009.
