On October 2014, the company took over the operations of Alta Flights. Since then, despite being the newest player in the fixed-based operator in Calgary, the company continues to offer services like aircraft management for aircraft owners. The company also participates in HOPE or also known as Human Organ Procurement and Exchange Program; this is just some of the medical repatriation programs that this company is getting involved. Aside from providing flights, it also offers services like air ambulance that are equipped with the things needed for the transportation of lifesaving organs.

The things that set Sunwest Aviation on top of the other airline companies is that is it committed to providing safe and personalized travel experiences to all of its passengers. In addition to that, Sunwest Aviation is regularly audited not only by the government but also those private agencies. It is one of Canada’s few ARG/US Platinum and IS-BAO Stage 3 certified charter operators and has been the industry leader in sustaining the highest standards in terms of safety and services being offered to pre-defined sectors such as personal, commercial, oil and gas, industrial transportation, and cargo.
