The arrivals board above lists the flights landing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol today, with the scheduled time, the estimated or actual landing time and the status of each flight. The data comes straight from Schiphol and updates continuously. Schiphol is the hub of KLM and one of the largest transfer airports in Europe; from Britain, flights arrive from London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham and a dozen other cities.
Schiphol has a single terminal; every arriving passenger comes out onto Schiphol Plaza, where the meeting point and the cafés are. The Kiss & Ride in front of the departure halls is for letting people out only; to pick someone up, use P1 Pick-up and Drop-off, a two- to six-minute walk from the arrival halls. Allow half an hour between landing and the hall, more for intercontinental flights with passport control. The railway station is directly below the terminal, with trains to Amsterdam Centraal eight times an hour in about 17 minutes and direct services to Utrecht, Rotterdam and The Hague; the Amsterdam Airport Express bus 397 runs to the city every 10 minutes.
