Good to know

  • RTA's Red Line provides regular service between CLE and downtown Cleveland via the Tower City Station. The trip takes less than 30 minutes.
  • The Red Line operates 7 days a week from approximately 4 a.m. until approximately 12:30 a.m. Passes can be purchased from the Ticket Vending Machines at the Airport Station; credit and debit cards can be used.

From the airport

  • RTA's station at CLE is located on the lower level of the main terminal. To reach it, use the elevators or escalators located in the center of the ticketing and baggage claim levels.

  • Look for the taxi entrance, located at the south end on the Baggage Claim level (carousel #11); pick-ups are made in this area only. The white CLE Airport Taxis are operated by Ace Taxi and Americab.
  • Taxi cab service is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone who needs taxi service after normal business hours (5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.) will need to contact one of the taxi cab companies directly. Credit cards are accepted by all taxi companies.
