Exeter Airport departures: how to read the board
The departures board above lists the flights leaving Exeter today, with the scheduled departure time, the estimated or actual time, the destination and the status. It updates continuously; an estimated time later than the schedule means a delay, and departed means the aircraft has left the gate.
Exeter has one terminal with a single security search and the gates a few steps beyond, so it is one of the quickest airports in Britain to get through. The busy moments are the early-morning Loganair and KLM departures and the summer Saturdays, when TUI Airways and Ryanair holiday flights leave together. Arrive well ahead of the time on the board.
Dropping off and getting there
For a drop-off, use the bays in Car Park P1 opposite the Main Terminal, chargeable for up to 15 minutes, or Car Park P4, free for up to 30 minutes; stopping on the approach roads is not permitted. By rail, travel to Exeter St Davids or Exeter Central and continue with the Stagecoach 4A bus or a taxi; by car, the airport is just off the A30 east of the M5.
The board is dominated by Loganair flights to Edinburgh, Manchester and Newcastle, Blue Islands and Aurigny to Jersey and Guernsey, KLM to Amsterdam, Aer Lingus to Dublin and holiday flights to Málaga, Alicante and the Canaries. Looking for an arriving flight? Switch to the Arrivals tab. Every airport we track is listed in the airport overview.
