The quickest way to get to Downtown from Midway Airport is via I-55 N. The total distance from the Airport to Downtown is 11 miles and it roughly takes 20-25 minutes to complete the journey. Alternatively, the CTA's Orange Line provides transit to Downtown Chicago, where it connects with other subway/elevated rapid transit lines.


Parking is available at both the onsite and offsite MDW Airport lots. The onsite rates for Midway Airport parking at the Terminal and Economy lots range from $15/day to $40/day. You can also park at just $6.75/day if you park at American Inn and Suites MDW Airport Parking, located near the airport.
