Stinson Municipal Airport (IATA: SSF) — a lifesaver for San Antonio. With just seven miles separating it from downtown, at the edge of 800,000 people living in that triangle is Stinson Municipal. This historic airfield established in June 1938 has been an important part of the city's aviation community for over eight decades, supporting various private, corporate, and general aviation traffic.

Stinson Municipal Airport does not currently host any scheduled commercial passenger flights but is served by an assortment of private and charter operators.
