Navoiy International Airport

Located in Navoiy, Uzbekistan, this airport. It was established in 1962 and joined Uzbekistan Airways in 1992. Over the years, Navoiy Airport has undergone many renovations. Then it began a major renovation in 2007! Helo, the enterprize upgraded its both runway and taxiways at the airport. It also built a new air control tower and modern lighting systems.

Korean Air Cargo ( Korean : 대한항공 화물 ) gained the management of the airport since 2009. A ten-year long-term strategy to further develop the airport was initiated. They established at the opening of largest air cargo terminal in Central Asia in 2010. The terminal has a capacity of 100,000 tonnes of cargo per annum. It also has room for five B747-400's. There are now 12 weekly cargo flights to airports such as Incheon or Brussels from Navoiy Airport.

Uzbekistan Airways also operates cargo flights from Navoiy. Including 18 weekly flights to locations like Bangkok and Frankfurt. Navoiy Airport is now the hub of three airlines and connects to nine cities in eight countries. The airport is still expanding and will add more destinations in the future.

Navoiy Airport, meanwhile, offers 12 weekly cargo flights to cities such as Incheon (South Korea), Brussels (Belgium) and Milan (Italy). This is also a hub forflight operations of Uzbekistan Airways.
