Once I got dropped off at the rather sketchy Torres Airstrip Airport, it was an experience in itself. The airport is situated on Linua Island, and its nearest neighbor, Lo (or Loh) Island, can be reached by boats, ferries, and small aircraft. Visitors can plan their travel with local tour operators or transportation providers and expect a seamless ride to the airport.

Parking

Torres Airstrip Airport has no car park. Those considering a trip on four wheels will need to find places to park their cars (either via private vehicle rental or a car hire company) in neighboring villages or along the island's roads.
