Bournemouth Airport arrivals: how to read the board
The arrivals board above lists the flights landing at Bournemouth today, with the scheduled time, the estimated or actual landing time and the status of each flight. It updates continuously. Bournemouth Airport at Hurn, north of the town, is a small single-terminal airport serving Dorset and Hampshire, with holiday and low-cost flights to Spain, Portugal, the Canaries and a handful of European cities.
All arriving passengers come out into the same arrivals hall, so there is no terminal to check; allow a quarter of an hour to half an hour between landing and the hall. For a pick-up, enter Car Park 1 directly opposite the terminal and use the Express Drop-off/Pick-up Area on the left, chargeable with a four-hour maximum; vehicles may not stop on the approach roads. Bournemouth has no railway station: the MoreBus 737 runs to Bournemouth railway station on weekdays and the YX1 to Poole, and PRC Streamline Taxis, the official taxi service, has desks in the arrivals building.
Which flights you see on this board
Ryanair accounts for the largest share of arrivals, from Málaga, Alicante, Faro, Palma de Mallorca, Lanzarote, Krakow, Malta and Edinburgh. Jet2.com and TUI Airways bring holidaymakers back from the Mediterranean and the Canaries, and easyJet flies in from Geneva in the ski season. The schedule swells in summer and shrinks in winter.
