Glasgow Airport departures: how to read the board
The departures board above lists the flights leaving Glasgow today, with the scheduled departure time, the estimated or actual time, the destination and the status. It updates continuously; an estimated time later than the schedule means a delay, and departed means the aircraft has left the gate.
Glasgow has one main terminal, with check-in on the ground floor and security upstairs; the gates lie along the piers beyond, and the walk to the far gates takes a few minutes. Security is busiest in the early-morning wave, when easyJet, Jet2.com and TUI Airways holiday flights leave together with the first British Airways shuttle to Heathrow, and at the start of the Scottish school holidays. Arrive well ahead of the time on the board.
Dropping off and getting there
For a quick drop-off, use Express Pick Up & Drop Off in the Terminal Multi Storey directly outside the terminal, where a fee applies for up to 15 minutes; the Long Stay car park is free for up to an hour with a free shuttle to the terminal. The Glasgow Airport Express Service 500 runs from Buchanan Bus Station (Stance 46) and connects with Queen Street and Central stations; McGill’s 757 serves Paisley Gilmour Street station for trains, and Citylink coaches link the airport with the Highlands and islands.
The board is dominated by easyJet, Jet2.com, TUI Airways and Ryanair flights to Spain, Portugal, the Canaries and cities across Europe, British Airways to London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London City, Aer Lingus to Dublin, KLM to Amsterdam and Emirates to Dubai. Looking for an arriving flight? Switch to the Arrivals tab. Every airport we track is listed in the airport overview.
