What do the colors mean?
The white arrow on the runway points the way the traffic is going. Derived from the positions of aircraft flying low near the airport right now. Not an official runway plan; what we see.
Designation, direction and length of every runway. These rarely change; which one is in use right now shows up here whenever we observe traffic.
1 runway · Longest runway: 10,827 ft
We currently see no traffic on approach or just after takeoff. That happens at a quiet airport or in the middle of the night.

Fly direct
The destinations we know the most flight numbers for. That approximates how heavily a route is served; it is not a passenger count.
Other airports within reach, with the straight-line distance and the number of direct destinations we know of. Airports without scheduled service are left out.
Airport facts
Lombok International Airport (IATA LOP, ICAO WADL), also named Zainuddin Abdul Madjid, lies at Praya in the center-south of Lombok, Indonesia, about 40 kilometers south of Mataram, the island's capital, and half an hour from the surf beaches of Kuta Lombok and the Mandalika resort area with its MotoGP circuit. Opened in 2011 to replace the old airport in Mataram, it is the gateway to Lombok, the Gili Islands and Mount Rinjani, and for many visitors the alternative to overcrowded Bali, a short flight or a ferry away. The radar on this page shows what our data sources report around Lombok; the arrivals and departures pages are linked above it.
The Indonesian carriers dominate: Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Batik Air, Citilink and Super Air Jet fly to Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Makassar and other domestic cities many times a day, and Wings Air's turboprops to the smaller islands of Nusa Tenggara. Internationally, AirAsia flies from Kuala Lumpur and Scoot and Jetstar have served Singapore and Perth at various times; schedules change with the seasons. Lombok lies beyond the reach of our receivers, so the live radar depends on other data sources.
Taxis from the official counters in arrivals charge fixed fares by zone: about half an hour to Kuta Lombok and Mandalika, an hour and a quarter to Senggigi, and an hour and a half to Bangsal, the harbor for the boats to the Gili Islands; ride-hailing through Grab and Gojek works at the airport. DAMRI buses run to Mataram and Senggigi cheaply. Hotels and dive shops arrange transfers, including the boat connection to Gili Trawangan. Rental cars and scooters are available, and the new bypass to Mandalika makes the south an easy drive.
The terminal is a single modern building with domestic and international halls side by side and short walks to the gates; arrive an hour and a half ahead for domestic flights and two for international ones. Indonesia grants a visa on arrival to most visitors, payable at the airport or online in advance; check the current rules. The rainy season runs from November to March, and the volcano Rinjani occasionally disrupts flights with ash. Bali Denpasar is the big international gateway, half an hour away by air or two hours by fast boat and ferry. Every airport we track is listed in the airport overview.
